Yalentay Rehabilitation Center, Cuernavaca,
Mexico, and Los Angeles, 1982 - 1985.
Established a full multi-disciplinary substance abuse treatment facility
with primary responsibility for developing a marketing plan to attract
patients from the United States. Responsibilities included strategic
planning, design, financing and implementation. As part of the project, a
plan was initiated to provide a myriad of services at a lower per diem
cost than facilities in the United States. As a result of the program
effectiveness, patients were referred to the Center by U.S. insurance
companies, hospitals and specialized facilities such as the Betty Ford
Center in Palm Springs, California.
